Vanishing Blue Heaven is a companion compilation to III, as Spiritland was a companion piece to L'etreinte Imaginaire. This comp contains 6 songs that were recorded along side the material that ended up on III—and a couple of them just after that.
These tunes glide through a wide emotional spectrum from rolling fogs of contemplative anxiety to shimmering manic euphoria to exploring the cautious relief of surrender and submission. I originally wanted to keep this one in a private physical form, but after hearing from enough folks who have been kind enough to support my music over the years, I wanted to finally make this material publicly available to those who engage with music digitally.
I also wanted to add that—and this is important—if you've already purchased the tape, either from me directly or through Bandcamp, you can drop me a line and I'll be happy to provide you with a download code, as you shouldn't have to purchase the same album twice. So yeah—if you already purchased this and would like to have a digital copy, just hit me up through the Bandcamp contact link, and I'll be happy to hook it up.
Thanks as always for supporting my work. I'd like to dedicate this release to a few of my favorite living humans—Britt, Andrew, Brandon, and Warren.
I would also like to dedicate this work to a few recently departed loved ones who are always in my thoughts—Jenny Hoffman, Kent Evans, Mark Schmidt, and Michael Green.

Cloudy head rush of suffused bliss. Beneath the techno/house scaffolding lays a fathomless depth of ecstatic stuff, irradiated synth clouds and great billowing bass figures. Let your ears gaze for days.

This is a especially minimalist set of material for Huerco S. There's a lot of really beautiful additive/spectral synthesis work on this record. For my tastes it's not as compelling some of his earlier work, but the highlights get into some fantastically bizarre stylistic intersections, driving the clangorous palette of the record toward footwork or cloud rap for instance.
